Conversations & Community Lunch — held quarterly; open to all Drexel Dornsife students, staff, and faculty.

2026
IDEA Fellowship Cohort 5: The fifth cohort completed equity-centered research and advocacy work spanning multiple DSPH departments and degree programs. (Summer 2026)
The CCO team, along with other Dornsife faculty, staff, and students, that documents development of the school's Shared Leadership Team and the founding of the Office of CCO, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategies to maintain momentum amid institutional change and national political changes. 2025
CCO launched the 2025-26 IDEA Fellowships program with a call for project proposals from interested faculty and staff in September and announced the 2025-26 IDEA Fellows in December. (12/8/25)
糖心Vlog received Insight Into Academia’s 2025 Higher Education Excellence and Distinction (HEED) Award, which recognizes U.S. colleges and universities that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to academic excellence, belonging and community-building across all levels of campus life. Drexel was the only Philadelphia-based institution to be recognized among the 2025 award recipients. (10/06/25)

The recipient of Drexel Dornsife's 2024 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Award was the led by Ana Martinez-Donate, PhD, Professor, Community Health & Prevention, and Mariana Lazo, MD, PhD, ScM, Associate Research Professor, Community Health & Prevention. This award recognizes a team of faculty, staff and students who strive to build and nurture an institutional culture where inclusiveness is a core value, collectively foster our vision of health as a human right, and advance our goals of eliminating health disparities and improving health in cities. Meet the 2023-24 cohort of IDEA Fellows, dated 12/1/23.
Reneé H. Moore, PhD, research professor in the department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and director of the Biostatistics Scientific Collaboration Center (BSC), has taken on the role of Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. In this role, Dr. Moore will develop a vision and strategy for a School Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging that will continue to advance our School Action Plan and build and expand on the great work led by Scarlett Bellamy, ScD, and the Taskforce.
