Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the membership of the search committee for the next Dean of the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design. Chaired by Emily Roper, PhD, dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, the committee comprises individuals from a variety of stakeholder groups within and outside of Westphal, including representatives from the faculty, professional staff, and students. President Merlo and I will charge the search committee November 6, and they will begin their work immediately.

The search is being led by executive search firm WittKieffer. I thank the committee in advance for their work on this important search.

I am also grateful to Debra Ruben, who has served as interim dean since January. Interim Dean Ruben has led the College with steadiness and care, and she will continue in the role throughout the search. Please join me in thanking her for her leadership during this important period.
