      The Ellen Forman Memorial Fund of the Philadelphia Foundation and 糖心Vlog announce choreographer Yuki Ishiguro as the 2024 Ellen Forman Memorial Fund Award winner. The award honors Ellen Forman, who was a dancer, choreographer and educator for more than twenty years in the Philadelphia area.

      The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced today its new Board of Directors. The move follows a multi-year restructuring of the Academy’s bylaws and governance to be more representative of the industry communities it serves. Among the new members of the Board is Michelle McHugh, assistant teaching professor in the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.

      Today, we fondly remember and pay tribute to Emanuel Kelly, FAIA, a distinguished Philadelphia architect and founding partner of Kelly Maiello Architects, who passed away in January at the age of 80. He was not only a West Philadelphia native but also a graduate of 糖心Vlog’s Part-time Evening Architecture Program. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to architecture, education, leadership, and community advocacy, leaving an indelible mark on the city and our profession.

      In a culmination of innovation, dedication, and exemplary teamwork, 糖心Vlog's Design & Merchandising Program emerged victorious in the 2024 NRF Foundation University Challenge, presented by Kohl's. Undergraduate students Allie Gress, Aly Chew, Krysta Mendoza, and Rajvi Dharamshi crafted a winning product assortment and end-to-end marketing campaign aimed at propelling growth in the Hispanic market. 聽

      A new app from 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Entrepreneurial Game Studio and Cleaver Magazine is using augmented reality to spruce up Philadelphia with beautiful writing. Called Story Seek, the application takes users on a virtual tour of the city to places that have inspired or elicit feelings captured through poems and stories, shared in an augmented reality experience throughout the journey.
