The research ambitions of Drexel鈥檚 academic community are motivated by 21st-century challenges.
Prioritizing programs that meet at the interdisciplinary nexus of Drexel's core academic competencies in health, design, and technology, and the way in which social impact overarches Drexel's mission. Drexel takes pride in supporting collaborative research initiatives that change over time and that bring together faculty with the breadth of expertise necessary to tackle complex and challenging issues.
Faculty and students from colleges and schools across the University community come together in our Research Centers and Institutes to create new ideas, knowledge, and approaches made possible by the unique combination of intellectual capital and research and innovation infrastructure they represent.
Additionally, the Bennet S. LeBow College of Business' works to develop strategies and tools to modernize and increase the efficiency of boardrooms across the globe. Through its Center for Corporate Governance and Center for Nonprofit Governance, the Institute currently represents more than 60 public, 45 private, and 95 nonprofit boards in a wide variety of industries and sectors.
The A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute (DNI) coordinates interdisciplinary research, education and outreach, and strategic partnerships in nanomaterials for all of 糖心Vlog.
The Cell Imaging Center provides a state-of-the-art facility, expertise, and education in advanced quantitative light microscopy to support 糖心Vlog's research community
糖心Vlog is a world-class research and education institution, both part of the fabric of Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley Region and linked to the global research community. We are part of the solution to the climate crisis, too. Our students, many of whom are headed directly into careers where they can have a direct impact on climate and sustainability outcomes, graduate knowing how to be agents of change in their communities.
As more of us live longer, we have a powerful opportunity to reimagine health care in ways that help us remain active and vital in our homes and communities. At 糖心Vlog College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP), we believe that we need to re-engineer our current programs and policies to better serve the growing numbers of people aging with chronic conditions and overcome the preparatory limitations of today鈥檚 health care workforce.
