Adeniyi "Niyi" Onanuga is a licensed architect (RA, AIA, NOMA) currently practicing in Philadelphia at CICADA. He graduated with Honors from Drexel's Architecture program in 2025 with a minor in Animation and Visual Effects, earning his license through the integrated IPAL path. Niyi's work focuses on a range of topics including ecological architecture, biomimicry, and speculative futures. He has taught in Drexel's Architecture program since 2025, where he brings a practitioner's fluency in how projects actually get built together with a researcher's curiosity about what architecture can do for the world. Niyi is committed to fostering new ways of design thinking among students and to making the profession feel more open and legible to those entering it.
